I got three friend requests all at the same time. From three different users. They all had over 10 friends, but no projects, and the weird thing was they all had eachother on their friend list. They may be in a contest for the most friends, but I'm not sure, so I didn't know whether to report them or not. What should I do?

They might all be the same user. Some people create multiple scratch accounts, so they can post different types of projects. You shouldn't report them, just add them.

But they had completely different usernames, and completely different icons.

See? Completely different usernames, so I didn't add them yet. (I *ed out most of the usernames, because your not supposed to post usernames.)

Depends, If they are all the same user... And just want to make projects with them later , on all the same thing .... Then Don't Report them.
Ask them, By Simply private messageing (PM)ing them,
they have some reason to state with you.

There isn't PMing in Scratch.

My policy on friends:
If they friend you, they want to see more of your projects, you do NOT have to friend back unless you want to see more of their projects. I'd take it as a compliment; that they really like your projects. Some people friend you so you'll friend them back and look at their games. In my opinion, if you did that to me, your not my "friend" anyway. I'd just accept that they friended you and friend them back if you like their projects.

Most users around here don't really use the friend list like a friend list - it's more like a watch/subscribe list nowadays.
It could be that they friended you so they can keep track of projects you've uploaded to the site, so you can probably leave the issue alone. If you still feel uncomfortable with it (or if they start to act in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable), you can add the users to your ignore list so they won't be able to see your userpage or comment on your projects and galleries (and then you can contact the Scratch Team if necessary).
