Linux. I use it rarely, but I love it.
[It's because my aunt owns the only Linux I've ever seen, and she usually doesn't let me play. All my friends rave about Linux Mint.]

I've never been fond of Mac OS, Linux I had once, which was okay. Windows is my personal favorite

Windows, windows and only windows. Though I have to say that the 64 bits versions are much better than the 32, being that they can have more memory and thus be much faster.
I'm currently using Windows 7, I upgraded from XP though, my computer got kinda messed up when I tried to upgrade the graphics card and memory, so I gave up there and did a total upgrade, and sofar, everything is working fine. Can you do that with a mac?

I like Windows 7 myself. If you just need a computer for Scratch, email, and maybe Minecraft (or something like that), go with a Mac. If you want the programming abilities of a Unix-based OS like a Mac (you get them from the terminal. "javac filename" to compile java, "irb" for IRB, "ruby filename" for ruby files, and there's something for python2.7, PHP, perl, and a bunch of other stuff I forget) but like the look and feel of Windows better, go with a Mac and use Boot Camp Assistant (which comes with the computer in the Utilities section of Applications) to add Windows to the computer. Give your Mac maybe half a GB of memory, depending on how large your programs are.

Problem there is that its all about opinions, your opinion is that they're ossim (awesome, right?) but my personal opinion is that a Windows computer is better, but someone like JJROCKER likes Macs, and thats his opinion.
