i wasn't going to use scratch to make it.... i was going to make a sig that says my user name, pretty simple stuff... i was going to use the paint in the acessories that is in the computer

I don't mean for Scratch projects... Outside of Scratch, "sprite" just means pixel art, like the kind you see in some video games (i.e. 2D Super Mario Bros), and this is often the only time Paint is really good.

But onto your question. You could simply use the text tool (the one that looks like the letter T) to write your name out, which is easy enough, but probably won't look that good. If you're looking to make a nice attractive logo, you should consider downloading a better art program such as Gimp.

No, the paint in acessories is what hmnwilson means.

I can make a sig if you want, and even update it with your newest project (I need to be notified when you make a new one).

If not, just looks at some pixel art tutorials. Paint (even better Windows 7 paint) is good for pixel art.

i Have looked at Gimp before but im not sure how to use it...

Paint.NET is a very easy to use alternative if you have a Windows machine.

It was designed to be a highly functional high quality replacement for MS Paint.

MS Paint has always messed things up for me. I use GIMP because I have a Mac and .NET doesn't work on Macs

2. I use paint for converting images.
