is there any way to get text on scratch without MS paint?!
I have ms paint but neither of my computers let me import the text into my projects!!!! and it's really annoying to just import every... single... letter... from the already created text in the sprite folder. SOME1 HELP ME!!!!!!!
and it won't let me import pics either. groar. >.<

As for the text part, there's a tool right in the paint editor:
It's the one that's blue in the picture.
The importing problem is way more open ended, though. What happens? Like, does it give you an error message? Do they just not show up?
I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

thx a lot!!!! yea there was a weird firewall or something that was screwing things up... including the text feature in scratch.
But it got fixed!!!!! (finally)

Is it an unorthodox firewall or something? They may have bugs. I suggest you stick to the default firewall that comes with your OS, and maybe modify it from WELL-KNOWN websites' instructions. And follow the instructions exactly.
Error:Signature could not load. Please wait for an indefinite amount of time, until you realize you're gullible and go off to look for another potentially interesting signature to stare at.

.... i didnt mean firewall...
the computer i was using was just really old and has really bad virus protection
i don't use that 1 anymore...
