The finale of series 6 of Doctor Who, The Wedding of River Song. That was amazing, don't you agree?

Oh yeah! I just saw this topic. Okay, I'll delete the post from the other Doctor Who topic and put it here.
Highlight to Read, *SPOILER WARNING*
Okay, this works. Haha, I love how they used the bowtie for the wedding. Bowties are cool. But anyway...
So, question--I don't get how he lived... I mean, I know he gave River some message or something but what was it? Was I just not watching carefully or did they not explain and it will be explained later? Oh, and also, I am not 100% sure why everything was all wibbly wobbly (haha) in the beginning, but I'm assuming it's because they changed a fixed point in time... Basically, the whole episode confused me a little, maybe because I watched it at ten after like 8 hours of anticipation XD
Someone should make a Doctor Who official topic. But of course, as the season just finished, it's probably not the best time.

Well, here's what happened: River didn't shoot him, thus changing a fixed point in time, making time go all wibbly. All of time was happening at once, but it was also slowly disintegrating. And then at the wedding, he whispers something into River's ear. He says that it's his name, but it wasn't. So after they go back to Lake Silencio, and the Doctor dies, time starts again (because the fixed point is now back to normal). Later, River explains to Amy that the Doctor didn't really whisper his name into her ear. What he actually said was "Look into my eye." She did, and saw the real him in the eye of what was actually the Tesselecta (the time travelling, shape-shifting robot operated by miniaturized people). So it was really the Teselecta that got shot and "died", while the Doctor was safely inside it.
I hope that helps.

Just proves how much sense DW makes.
But yeah I saw it, but I'd already guessed what would happen a couple episodes ago.
