I am currently working on this project (with a bunch of others). I am getting progress... I made on map button, the map, inventory, some places, a cube, and now I am gonna get started on some clothes. Now that will be hard. So please wait patiently if you are waiting for this game or the other, C.l.e.f. I am so busy with school. I have not been on Scratch for the whole week!

I squashed some more bugs. The game is coming along pretty well, it should come out this week, if not, then by next week.

I just squashed a bug that took me about 10 minutes to figure out! I did all these extra blocks and kept trying to figure it out and removing some blocks, but I realized just then, I needed a forever
. Epic fail. Well now I can continue.

I squashed some more bugs, and added an extra item you can buy. Now I will add some more places and add some games.

XD, okay now I will make some games, I was gone for like 10 hours.

I added the first game and squashed a bug. Time to make more items, games...

doesn't anybody care about this project?

I just made some HUGE changes to the game. I made the color system of the your character different! It is probably MUCH more convenient if I want to add the ability to dress your character (which I will). So now I will get going with the first clothing item!
Offline
I am also creating a new system for the clothes using 3 or more variables (body, hand, hat). Once I think of some more things a clothing item can go on a cube like mine, I will add more variables. The system should work fine.

I squashed another bug with one of the clothing items. I added a "inventory version" of your character in the inventory so you know what your character looks like it. This game should be finished in the next 3 weeks (and by that I mean weekends) or sooner.

I squashed a bug in the inventory. I also fixed some things about a game you can play. Also I made an adjustment to the beginning of the game.

I just squashed another big bug in the inventory I didn't realize until now. It required about 20 minutes of thinking, the removal of 2 sprites, and I added a variable. At least I finally figured it out.

I just squashed some bugs about the new game I just put. There are 2 games in the Game Lounge. I will add a shop, more items in the Gift Shop, and other things. It should be ready maybe in the next 2 week(ends)!
Offline
Well I actually didn't get to adding more items in the Gift Shop, but I added the shop, fixed bugs, and I will add a "Cubey" as your home button first and it will transport you to your "Cubey". So this certain thing be complete in the next two weeks.

The cubey is coming along well. I got the two catalogs in there, furniture and cubies. But I am stuck on the drawing. I can't draw a couch, chair, etc! That will hold me back a while.
I guess I will just work on Python for the rest of the time.

I'm looking forward to this! I'll keep up with this thread. What genre of game is it exactly going to be? Shootem up, rpg, adventure, platforming, etc. I'm good at scripting, but not so good when it comes to imagination. Come to think of it, thats kinda weird. I write fantasy books.

Thanks for responding to this thread! I will continuously update this thread. The genre of this game is really an RPG type. If you played games on websites such as a good example of my game, called Club Penguin, that type. Wow you write fantasy books, cool!
Updates:
I squashed a lot of bugs to the furniture stuff. I made it so you can move your furniture by yourself without it picking its own co-ordinates. That took me a while to figure out because the moving was working and the x position was changing when using the arrow keys to move the piece of furniture, but the sprite wasn't actually moving in the little screen area! Well I shall be working on this more on the weekend and possibly during the week (school!). Keep an eye out! (For this thread, not for the game because the game is probably 30 or 40% done.)
