Excavator. And what's a pneumatic drill? If it's a good piece of machinery, sure! And one more thing I will add...

A pnuematic drill is a drill with you use with both hands and simply put, pulverise the thing you want out of your way, google it for more information.

The server is really lonely right now...

Re: Phoenix Survival [MC Server] [1.0.0!]

Idea for tomorrow's PVP tourney:

So all the players are placed an equal distance from a 4x4 square. On that square are chests with weapon in. When the announcer says 'go' or whatever all the players run towards the chests and grab any weapons inside them. There may also be food. They then either run away or begin fighting. If you run away the food will be useful to re-heal and stop hunger. You could not break or place any blocks and the arena you play in would be fenced off or something. So it's a fight to the death and the last man standing wins. It could go on for quite a while if there isn't a battle at the chests but instead, people run away.

Opinions?

Re: Phoenix Survival [MC Server] [1.0.0!]

I think people should take thier own weapons actually, only I think that there should be a limit, like no diamond weapons unless your opponent has one.

And then in the end there's a big free-for-all  big_smile

Re: Phoenix Survival [MC Server] [1.0.0!]

We could make a circular arena with an area of
12867 blocks and we'd need 402 for the wall around it.

Re: Phoenix Survival [MC Server] [1.0.0!]

Announcing Phoenix Survival's very first EVENT!

Phoenix Survival will be hosting a PvP Tourney on October 2nd, at 11:00 AM Central Time.
(Go here for a list of time zones)

Since the arena is incomplete, we'll be using a stand-in area.

The tourney will be double-elimination, with a max of 7 contestants.

Contestants will start out with only their fists. The contest will go until one player is killed.

Bracket:
Coming soon.

You may enter the contest by placing a sign on the Event entry board.

Re: Phoenix Survival [MC Server] [1.0.0!]

K, so this is my idea:

There are 4 events: Hunger Games, Arena, Team, and Free-for-all.

Hunger games is werd's idea.
Arena is when there are 2 people in the arena who fight each other to the death.
Team is like Arena, only with teams.
Free-for-all is self-explanatory, and can be taken place in the woods of in the arena.

Whaddayathink?

Re: Phoenix Survival [MC Server] [1.0.0!]

Here's an idea:

For the 2/10/11 battle we do it in the city. You are not aloud to leave the city, go underground, get weapons from chests (except hidden goodies chests) or go in houses. You all start at different points in the city and there are chests dotted about with 'ARENA' signs to say that these are the goody chests.

In them would be wooden sword, leather armour, arrows, bows, fishing rods (to make your opponents fly over to you). Last man standing wins.

After that we'd do Geo's idea of the different types of battle. But since we're not very prepared we could do the above idea.

That could get difficult, I think maybe just a fenced off area in the woods or something...
