I've seen a lot of topics about free love-its. you're acting like its money.
love-its are supposed to be symbols to the maker of the project that the player loves/likes the game. not just because they won a contest or viewed your projects; im sure mods would agree.

I would guess that's the case. You probably registered on the forums before the New Scratcher rule was imposed.
And I agree, it's really disappointing to see many users on Scratch treating love-its as currency to be dispensed as rewards or payment for favors.

Hmmm, I'm afraid it's natural for humans to want to establish a currency. Since nothing else is available they use love-it's. When someone creates a competition on here they want to give an incentive to make more people take part.
Perhaps a Scratch currency would be a good idea? I can see a LOT of problems associated with it but if you thought carefully about it and planned some sort of structure it might be an interesting suggestion for the Scratch team?

Closing duplicate threads. Not much happens other than that in the TBGs.
