Just as I was getting ready to release one of my best projects, Scratch decided to be all glitchy.
Whenever I import a sound file, and test it in the project, after a stop and a start, The sound file becomes corrupted and skips around. It's Kind of hard to give an actual example but maybe somebody could help me. So for instance If I wanted to make a sound that said:
"Hello this is my project"
After I click the green flag to test it, then the red stop sign, and play the sound again, It gets to be something more like this:
"lo-el-is-thi-y-m-roj-p-ect"
In essence it scrambles all the syllables and what not. And every time I click green flag the sound gets more corrupted! Is there anything I can do to stop this? Reinstall scratch? Import sounds somehow else?
I am hoping that this is a common glitch and that there have been a million people who have had it, and just as many who have fixed it.
Well whether you can help or not, Thank you for you time.

I had this happen, it is usually because the project has been left open for a while, save it close it then reopen the project and see if that works.
