I've noticed that a lot of Christmas movies have one big flaw in them.
You know when the parents think that Santa isn't real, and then the kid sees Santa, and then the parents see Santa? Well, I was just wondering where they thought all the presents their children got came from. For example, the movies Elf, The Santa Trap, and A Dennis the Menace Christmas.
And as a kid myself, when I was younger, I always questioned why Santa gave all the rich families the best presents, and gave orphans nearly nothing...

And it makes the parents seem selfish when you realize that if Santa doesn't make it, the kid won't get any gifts. So it means that the parents never bought them any.

I have always wondered this! The parents seem to know something that makes them think Santa does not exist, and in these circumstances in films where santa DOES drop of presents, I would imagine the sale of security systems would skyrocket around christmas!

Yeah, I wonder about that too. Parents in Christmas movies generally are---well, unimportant and not thought much about.
In the Polar Express, they're like, "How much longer is this kid going to believe in Santa. I mean it's just the one gift that randomly appears every year but that's nothing."

SANTA DOESN'T EXIST! What's commonly referred to as "Santa" is really a genetically altered clone of the Easter Bunny in disguise. Don't let your parents lie to you...
