Maya Binary to 3ds
I need a freeware converter that will convert Maya Binaries to 3ds files. I can't use maya because I made it on someone else's computer in maya and now can't use maya. I use blender. Can someone help?

Under the File tab of blender, go under the Export menu. One of the options should be "Export as Maya (.3ds)". Or at least it is in Blender 2.49 (no idea about 2.49a or 2.49b).

he wants to convert a maya to blender, not other way around
