See, I think you're confused as to what a "closed topic" is. When the box next to a topic is gray instead of blue, that just means nobody's posted any posts in there that you haven't read. It's not closed, it's just a read topic (as opposed to an unread topic, when the box is blue). A closed topic, on the other hand, happens when a mod or Scratch Team member comes and closes it because of various reasons (it's flamebait, doesn't have a point, etc.) or because the topic is older than 2 weeks (in Misc.; it's 2 months in all the other forums). You can tell if a topic is closed if the title is gray, not the box. You also can't post in closed topics.

They just need to find the topic and post on it.
