What are you learning in Math this year?
Right now, I am in 8th grade and doing Algebra 1. Currently, I have been working on a lot of algebraic addition.
Example:
[-(-2)] + 4|(-1) - 3|
Working it out:
2 + 4|2|
2 + 8
10

In 5th grade, we're doing multiplicaton right now
Which is easy for me because i was the 2nd kid in 3rd grade

Right now we're basically learning what algebra is but like everybody already knows.
I think I'm in the equivalent of 4th grade.

I am also in 8th grade, in honors algebra. It is really easy, although I usually make stupid mistakes, like forgetting to make something negative, or incorrectly combining like terms.

I've been learning 'algebra' for years now. But I guess it gets real tough now. O.e

I'm in yr8 and am doing probability - I find it easy!

But most of you are Americans so don't know what yr8 is!!! (I dunno anything about 5th grade 2nd grade or freshman or anything else!)

Continuity of functions. Just got a 100 on the test about limits
It's not hard once you get used to it. ;D

I usually get 100% on my tests.

I'm in 4th year of Secondary school, don't know what the equivalent is, but right now we revising everything, currently were covering circles, and sector area and arc length. But we've already covered functions, trig and quadratics.

Lets see:
[-(-2)] + 4|(-1) - 3|
1. [-(-2)] This reverses (negative to positive, vice versa) the number to 2
2. 4|(-1) - 3| This says that -1 minus 3 to the positive amount, multiplied by 4. Which is 8.
3. 2 + 8 = 10
Thats what I get....
