First, you need to download the Scratch program.
Once you've done that, making games is quite easy. Here's a good tutorial that will give you all the basics. From there, the Scratch Wiki is a great resource with just about everything you need to know (and if you're still confused about something, just make a new topic in the All About Scratch forum, and someone will be more than happy to help).
By the way, when you make a post, you should check the last time the topic was posted in. For example, this topic is almost 4 years old, and some people find it annoying when old topics are brought back. Next time, try making your own topic!
I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.
