Yep. I encourage people to do that. Heck. if you have one project that falls under five catagories, go ahead and enter that project in all 5. Or if you have 5 different ones (like you said), thats fine too.

I don't think I'll be submitting any projects (homework, help) but if you guys want me to, I'd like to help selecting the winners 
Or maybe I will submit one, my bomberman clone should be finished soon

If you want, I can make trophies. I made a scratch cat 3d model for my spinning tank project. I can make him gold silver and bronze? and make a nominee plaque.
I'm all up for helping where I can. (if it stays positive, open, and fair.)
Can anyone nominate?
Can they nominate their own project?
What are the judging guidlines?
Is each project scored? like 1 to 10?

-Whatever the Scratcher finds best. Besides, these aren't just people who are unknown, and pick random projects to win. These are Scratchers that most likely have a great sense of judgement (hopefully).

Does this have to be limited to projects?
I think you should think about adding things like "Most Helpful User" "Coolest User" "Best Forum Poster" "Best Scratch Team Member" and maybe some other things.
