and being cute and stuff...some people are born with it, some aren't. don't stress it too much, but dont wear a ton of weird clothes. i think sports clothes are pretty nice c:

Anyways Bananaman, I would like to know how you plan to go about this. Do you want to get out of it, or do you want to keep going with it? I'm not going to repeat what other posters said, I'm going to add onto it.

If you want to keep going with it, try not to be too obvious. We girls know. We can tell. Awkwardness, smiling, extra effort to make us laugh, certain looks, etc. Do you want this girl to know or do you want it to be your secret? If you want her to know, drop in some subtle hints intentionally.

Unlike other posters, I don't think age has anything to do with it. At all. What matters is that you like her.

And before you ask her if she likes you, definitely get her to like you as a friend first. How would you like it if this random person came up to you that you are only aquatinted to and said that they like you and asked if you liked them back, you would most likely not really know how to respond, feel awkward, or worse, think you're strange and abandon you.

So first, try and get to know her a bit, and get to understand her personality. How she treats you as a friend is probably how she'll be like as a girlfriend, and if you don't like it...

And when you ask, if she says no, shrug it off and move on. You don't need to waste your time pondering over it. After all, you aren't in college yet and aren't looking for a... you know, a SERIOUS relationship yet. You have PLENTY of time for that. That doesn't mean you shouldn't try, you should, but don't be crushed. And if she says yes, congratulations.

At least you don't have a crush on someone that teased your best friend in 6th grade... he's matured a lot since then, and all of my friends haven't forgiven him for that.
