Umm Im not able to import Music into my scratch Projects and it would help if I could. Can someone help me in anyway. I have cds set up to be imported, but when I click the folder for the music it doesnt show up. Thats all I have to say I need help getting music.

1 question: What format is the music in? MP3, MP4, mov, mpeg, wav..?

Its in Windows media Player and its also riped of cds. and its in music on my files.

No. I mean the format. Somtimes Scratch can't read some music.
If you use Windows:
Right click > info
Check its file type.

yeah, and i want it to allow importing MIDI music! i'd never get any non-MP3 music without this topic

I think you have to permanently change the file type to .wav with a converter. I tried it and it seemed to work fine. I know a lot about computers so ask me questions about anything on the subject of computers if you need help. big_smile

Or you could set your rip settings to save the music as an mp3 or a wav.

I have the same problem and it is .MP3. I am able to import some sound files into scratch but not others. All are MP3 and it isn't an issue of memory or anything because some of the ones that aren't allowed are fewer kilobytes than those that are.
