Well. we need to wait for scratch 2.0 to come out or use panther to make it work...

Scratch2EXE uses BYOB. Would that be any help? I do know Panther2Scratch, but that removes custom blocks. Unless we implement Mesh, if that helps. But then the users will need a scratch image and Mesh.

No. Not byob. but i could try doing a mesh ver with python/java, but its easier to use panther

Mesh it is then. A Mesh Server could send things to the LIFE Executable. I will host the server.

Re: LIFE - A Life Simulation Game

9/28/11 - 10/2/11

I will be on a holiday. My family is visiting relatives to the south. I won't be able to help on this project during that time but i'll try to do as much much as I can til then.
But first, a preview of what my final design work will be:
40+ Male Character Combinations
40+ Female Character Combinations
Possibility of cat or dog pet and 3 costumes for each.
Neighborhood Background Designs (Day & Night)
So yeah, I'll work toward this! (Any other requested work is noted too!  big_smile  )

WOOHOO! :}) (Handelbar Mustache smiley!) Imma good artist, pm me if you need help on projects!

yep  big_smile

EDIT: well... not necessarily mesh...

Python file summary
1. Connect to scratch
2. Sync items to web
3. Let scratch communicate with web if needed...

I didn't even know it was possible for Python code to integrate with Scratch, but this has told me otherwise. Wow, that's cool  big_smile

I'm not sure if what you want to do is possible, though: the protocol only allows you to synchronise variables and send/receive broadcasts, which may not be enough — you can't send sprites or images across.

You'd also have to find a way of getting your Python code to run on your users' computers, and enable "remote sensor connections" in Scratch by right-clicking on one of the sensor tiles.

Unless you have another way of doing it, of course...

All the images ore already downloaded onto life.
Variuables will be used to transfer data.
I will start bilding the stuff now...
