You know all those "scary" pictures? Like smile.jpg, or even the aliens from Alien?
They all have the same similarities. Sharp, pointed teeth, elongated faces. You can't say it hasn't scared you.
What happened so long ago that made humans have a primal fear of things with those characteristics? Why are we all afraid?

just something to think about.

i think it's because sharp, pointed teeth are capable of seriously injuring or killing a human. Humans are scared of things that can hurt them.
elongated faces look distorted than the things we're used to, different. strange things scare us.

usually i'd make some long philosophy speech, but there's no need. we fear the unknown. we fear difference. we fear it because it may somehow bring harm to us. and no one likes that.
