It's rigged.
It only pays out at a certain rate. If you aren't selected to win it skips the block you need to get the the upper prize area.
It's a scam, don't waste money on it.

Sorry, the reason that i'm excited is that I know that Stacker is rigged. I saw a video once. I found out that the machine is set to make it only possible to win 1 out of every 300-800 tries. It will almost always skip the last/second to last block. In some machines, the Minor Prize is rigged.

I've seen those before! Never went on them though. At arcades I either do Air Hockey, Dancing stage megamix/euromix/revolution , or those rubbish 2p machines
If I did do the claw machine, I'd work out the pattern before I play, so I'll be usually garunteed to get a prize >

Idk why, but i'm awesome at the soft dance pad games for the gamecube and stuff, but I SUCK at the arcade version (though, I always choose fast J-pop music ).

Those things are rigged, so even if you actually won, unless there is enough money it automatically makes you lose. You wouldn't believe how frustrated I was with all the money I spent on that trying to get my dad an MLB gift card as a gift 
I swear I legit won multiple times...

Once, I was at this arcade called Grand Slam, and I was playing a game with a truck and you had to try to drop a coin onto a truck or something and then the truck would dump and you would get some tickets for however many were in there or something, and it was broken so I just put in a coin and it kept spitting out tickets. I had like 200+ tickets from it, I should have kept playing.
