Converting Pictures into Animation?

I've seen all the animations for profiles and I would like to make one of my own. The only problem is, I can't figure out how to take images and animate them, keeping the image file normal. Does anyone have any tips?

Re: Converting Pictures into Animation?

You need to make an animated .gif. You can't do that with just any image editing program, so try searching "gif animator" on google. The problem is most of them you need to buy, but usually they have a free trial program.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Re: Converting Pictures into Animation?

I've been trying for centuries to find a good, free working program that can make .gifs. The ones I find are either good, but expire, or they will never expire, but say, "made with blahblahblah" in the corner of the image. Any good, working programs?

Re: Converting Pictures into Animation?

GIMP is a great program for converting still images into .gif's and it's free!
