My forums have been ripped apart by flaming, hypocrisy, and pointless fighting. The few people who are trying to help can't reason. Any advice?

I think doing things there way, as in replacing everybody while I am gone with a friend with a bad virus, homework, and much more is a good idea eh Appels?

i think that you should use some aspects of what they've done, mr. swell. they have:
made the moderation staff more close-knit so it's easy to reach decisions
cleaned up a bunch of old topics

Prune everything, boot all the admins, change your password, use proxies frequently, order that everyone else use proxies, and ban anyone suspected of flaming.

Well, truly, I think you should close it. I mean, look at these reasons:
1.) There are way too many moderators, someday one will change "the" "a" and words like that that are commonly used to bad words. And they'd ban you. I'm sure you'd be able to undo that, but still.
2.) We already have the Scratch forums and Scratch TBGs, there's no point to have yours.
3.) Way too much flaming, compared to Scratch.
4.) Many people hate it, so I'm sure someday something very bad will happen to it. Maybe a hacker will change the background to some inappropriate stuff, I don't know.

2PAC LIVES! lol...get it? Nvm. Yeah, the scratch forums and scratch itself have been junk the past 2 years but this year is terrible. I joined in 2008, just before all the stuff started happening. But sadly when everyone made a Cubeman rip-off and everyone was obsessed with hamsters.

I would, but if you know from the past I freaking hate it when you do something without asking for approval. And I like my mods, and Helltank awnser. If you say yes you can keep your spot. If not I gotta de-mod you or this gets worse.

Why do you need your own forum? We have the Scratch forums already. And, the Scratch Forums are much better, because they don't have all of the things you listed tongue
