So Apparently Einstein Was Wrong

They have found something that goes faster then the speed of light. The exiting part is that this opens the possibility of time travel.

It's probably something wrong with the systems. Don't think it's right - yet.

They tested it 15000 times and got the same result each time.

and what reputable news site give you this information? You know how much it costs to run a single test on the LHC with almost no budget?

many people have been proven wrong through technology, most of modern times theories will be decimated by future technology

Like most of the news sites? They analyzed 15,000 particles.

Re: So Apparently Einstein Was Wrong

I understand that this has been tested many times, but breaking the speed of light (and measuring such a phenomenon) is no small matter - there are a million factors to consider, and if this is true, it'll turn a lot of modern science on its head.

Basically, this is no small discovery. There's going to be a lot more testing and analysis of every possible influence to make absolutely sure that this can be affirmed. Until then, I'm taking this all with a large amount of skepticism. (Not that I doubt the integrity or the intelligence of the scientists who discovered this.)

Re: So Apparently Einstein Was Wrong

Apparently there has been an experiment in which they made light go faster than the speed of light. What happened is it disappeared and reappeared when it slowed back down shortly after.

Uh, it wasn't just a news site. I heard it on 2 different radio stations too.

Re: So Apparently Einstein Was Wrong

All you skeptics, listen up. I'm fortunate enough to be the son of one of the scientists involved in the experiment, and I tell you it's real.

As you know, Einstein's theory stated that lightspeed was an unbreakable constant... because of the mass particle accelerator being at a AHC. Thus the light particles were forced to waver at a constant speed, generating a "Graham's Bell" anomaly that WE ACCEPT AS TRUE!

So the scientists simply ran a atomic scanner over the MPA, and then they ran it and tested the particles that came out, finding them to be over the speed of like because GRAHAM'S BELL WAS NOT PRESENT! Can't you see?

The anomaly was smoothened out as per the sixth rule of gravity, and after they generated a stabilized and sterile testing position, the particle was no longer bound by the AHC warp, and Graham's Bell anomaly simply disappeared, allowing it to travel at its true speed, which is faster than lightspeed.

Oh dear, if this reaches a full-scale catastrophe, now we'll ruin other planets as well.

Technically, it never exceeded the speed of light.  Yet I am not going into all the things that make that statement true.  Unless someone asks.

Woah!  We could goto other planets in a matter of deacades!  But how much energy would you need?  And we should probably invent an ansible while we're at it, too!

Re: So Apparently Einstein Was Wrong

by neutrinos.  Apparently they traveled a distance of 500 miles 60 nanoseconds faster than the speed of light.  That's equivalent to .4 mps or 70 mph faster, which is roughly .00001% faster than the speed of light.

I can't find the article (my bro told me about it), but if anyone does, post it.
