Free things?

I'm not sure whats going on, but people have been giving a lot of free things on scratch.

Free love its
Free Remixes
Free Accounts
Giving away passwords.

Whats going on? its getting kinda chaotic and its starting to become a major problem

That type of behavior is discouraged on the Scratch site anyway (especially free accounts and passwords since that usually causes a lot of trouble).

It's a good to report incidences of giving away free love-its so the Scratch Team can contact the owner about it.  smile

As for free remixes - actually, I've never encountered a case of one and I don't know what that is! Could someone explain "free remix" for me? ^^;

Here is an example of free remixes.

Do you know why people are doing this?

Huh, maybe the account owner is bored and wants to do remixes?  hmm  I can't really say much about the free remixes part because this is the first time I've seen one and I'm not familiar with it's dynamics in general. Maybe asking others to give remix ideas is a way to find projects to remix.

Regarding free love-its: Usually people offer free love-its or even free views in response to people commenting on their project or entering their contest, etc.

Regarding free accounts/passwords: some people want to have an account that supposedly represents all Scratchers, so that's why they make a public account. Others just want to give away an account they no longer use instead of asking the Scratch Team to delete it.
