I was using version 1.2.1, I&M was up, there was no Misc forum or separate TBG forum, there was a Top Downloaded and Surprise Projects section on the front page, and there was hamsters everywhere.

I joined before inspiration and more was made

I joined in Jan '09. It was quiet and art projects commonly got on the front page. Spriting was very popular. No Flash!

Alright. That is a fair assumption.
I have Scratch 1.0! There are instructions on my project called Scratch 1.0. I know I'm too lazy to link…

I'm pretty sure that none of the above are still active right?
TBG's were still on the main forums
We used Inspiration & more, not Misc.
No flash player (not that I really use flash player)

I can imagine.
The forum was very inactive back then. xD
But that may have been cool too because right now, I can't keep up with the amount of topics/posts there are. Back then, you probably knew about almost every topic.

True. And almost every user, too. xD
It was like a little village where everybody knows each other. :3 That was cute.

JeanTheFox was still active, they said their goodbyes after a collab of theirs i participated in. No flashplayer. Minecraft wasn't everywhere. The misc forums were "governed" to some extent. Scratch team was more active, windowsapple was active :'( how i miss him, we became great friends and then i lost contact with him. Many other famous people were more active
