so lets get to the point.
you start by making a sprite with any kind of object you wont like squares. Make the  sprite with five of the shapes on the top seven on the side like a rectangle. If you do not under stand look at this: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/jurk/1925696 . Call it blank or space then duplicate it to make another costume and put  the later you wont or number do this until you got all the letters and numbers up to 9. then duplicate the sprite as many times as will fit on the top of the screen.
