You people have it all wrong! Mario first appeared in the arcade game 'Donkey Kong'. He had no name, so the nickname 'Jump Man' was a common assumption. He was later, officially named Mario.

Many people weren't impressed at the first impressions of Skylanders: Spyro's adventure, and sent DEATH THREATS to toys for bob, the devolopers.

If you ask me, I don't mind the new spyro. Sure, he's not cute or cuddly, but look at the cover on wikipedia. He looks a bit like the old one.
