I understand that it uploads player count and names to the Minestatus website.
Also, here is a plugin to remove the XP orbs.
I hope I wrote that one down correctly.
I hope that you can look into both of these and I can't wait for bukkit XP.

If the 1.9 pre-release comes out, DO NOT UPDATE. Otherwise you will NOT get on. At 4:00 today everybody will become whitelisted and bukkit will be installed. So, have some patience, and we are about to rock down the house! Prove yourself trustworthy, and when we updated to 1.9 vanillia, you will be on the whitelist.
