How can I host my project on my website?

I would like to host my project on my own website.  What do I need to do that?

Re: How can I host my project on my website?

On every project there is a link that says "embed". It provides two types of code. One that allows you to put your project as a simple image with a link to the project and the other one lets you embed the applet. This last option is not widely supported but if you have full control of the HTML it will probably work. You can search on the forums for other people who have succeeded in doing this.

Re: How can I host my project on my website?

Andres,

I would like to host the project on my site, not link/embed to my project on the MIT site.  What do I need to host projects the way you do on the MIT site?

Thanks......

Re: How can I host my project on my website?

Well somtimes I spend days and days working on a project and when I post it on the
MIT site people download it and change two little things and repost it. So I don't mind
sharing my projects but somtimes I want some of my projects to be veiwed but not changed. Thanks for the information. I'm going to try the instructions.

Re: How can I host my project on my website?

You can't avoid people being able to change your project, since the .sb file has to be downloaded in order to run on the web, and it can then be modified.  Of course, some of the beginners don't realizes this, so you are protected against beginners, but not against more sophisticated web users.

Re: How can I host my project on my website?

That's an interesting point. Could you list the reasons why you don't like it when people make few changes and repost it?

I haven't had this happen, but I hear people get annoyed when someone downloads their file, changes about 2 bits of script, then re-uploads it.

Re: How can I host my project on my website?

When I work a long time and then they just change a few things it makes me feel like they do not like it.  It is like an insult to me.  It is like when people cover things with graffiti.
