I used to watch it in Taiwan because:
A. They only had Disney Channel there and I was really bored.
B. Taiwan isn't as ahead as America in the Disney shows, so Jake Long was still a regular show.
It's actually pretty good.

Taiwan is sooo lucky. =_=
Here in America, we have The Problem Solverz and Fanboy & Chum Chum.
And boy, it really sucks.

This is what Wikipedia says:
Set in New York City (specifically the borough of Manhattan), this animated series tells the story of thirteen-year-old Jake Long who must balance ordinary adolescent transformation with the amazing power and ability to change into the form of a dragon. When he eventually unlocks his full potential and turns into the American Dragon, he will overcome obstacles to protect the magical creatures living in the city, but as his ordinary self, Jake Long can't conquer his crush on pretty blond schoolmate Rose who, unbeknownst to Jake, has an amazing dark secret of her own. She's a natural dragon slayer named Huntsgirl.
Jake navigates the city with fellow skateboarders Trixie and Spud, and when he gets home, it's to an extended family: a businessman dad originally from the Midwest who doesn't know he's married into a family of dragons, Jake's Chinese mom, his grandfather (who recently immigrated to train his grandson in the ways of the ancient dragon), younger seven-year-old sister Haley (a nascent dragon) and Grandpa's gruff sidekick, a magical Shar-Pei named Fu Dog.
And no, rabbit, it's not an anime.
It's an American cartoon.
Hope that answered your questions.

I used to watch it, but my parents thought it was a bit dodgey... I didn't mind not watching it.

They have some episodes online and it also shows at 5 in the morning on Disney XD.
Well, it's 5 for me, I'm not sure where you live.

Yeah, I remember this show! I wrote a really lame crossover a few years ago of AD:JL and KP... The idea's good, but my writing then was horrendous and sort of OOC. Maybe I'll re-write it and share

I remember that show. I always thought it was like Danny Phantom but with dragons instead of ghosts. It was a good show. Much better than Fanboy and Chum Chum and Planet Sketch(which is on right now -_-)

I like Danny Phantom, too, but I think I'd go with American Dragon.
I just like it a little more.

Man, I liked the original seasons.

Although I liked both styles, I think the newer one is better in a way.
However, some of the magical creatures should've stayed the same.

I haven't got to watch a episode yet.

I love this show and brings back memories of when TV used to be good!![]()
You've obviously never heard of Adventure Time, Regular Show, and Amazing World Of Gumball.
