Very new to Scratch ... searched for possible answers in the forum and guides, to no avail.
I would like to have 2 different Scratch windows open at the same time. I'm working on my own new project but have found another project that I want to use as a guide. It has enough similarities to what I'm working on that it would be most useful for the 2 windows to appear side by side. Can't figure out how to make this happen though.
Thanks for your guidance!

I've never managed it, I think you can only do it on a PC.

It's not possible within the Scratch app (annoying, for sure). On a Windows PC, you can just double-click a second project file from the desktop, and it'll start another copy of Scratch; works well enough.
On a Mac, you can do the same thing, but it's not as easy: Make a duplicate of the entire Scratch folder in /Applications, then open each of the Scratch apps separately. Can then open two different projects.
Alternatively, take a screenshot or two of the other project's code, then float those in their own windows. Or export the sprites, then import them into your new project.

its very easy... in the scratch folder there should be a scratch.exe(or scratch.app an a mac) file.. open it and there should also be a Scratch.image file and click to open it and Presto you have two scratch windows hoped this helps!
