Variable problems...serious bug

I found two bugs.
1. I have about 50 variables in a project.  When I try to delete a variable, that variable is not deleted.  Instead, the first variable on the list is deleted.
2. When more than 28 variables are shown on stage, scratch just crashes.

Re: Variable problems...serious bug

i found that it's not because i have 50 variables, it's because the variables are not a single list.  i run the same project on a computer with a high resolution screen and i can delete variables normally.

Re: Variable problems...serious bug

Hi, Fandebiao. Thanks for the bug reports. I've fixed both of these bugs. The next version of Scratch, due out at the end of this month, will include those fixes.

Re: Variable problems...serious bug

The new version of Scratch will have mostly bug fixes and the ability for others to create their own language translations (latin characters only for now).

Re: Variable problems...serious bug

how do you delete variables? I right click them to delete them, but the only thing that shows up is 'help'

do you want to see  real 3D ? come here and have a 3D runaround. the game will soon be a fighting game, as you can see when you press space   http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/JoelP/33274

Re: Variable problems...serious bug

To delete variables, you click on the variable tab.  You should then see a list of all ur variables.  Then u click in the box of the desired variable u want to get rid of.  You then scroll back to the top of the variable tab and click the "delete variable" button.

Hello Scratchers!  Please check out my "Invisible Children" project.  I created it to raise awareness about the children in Uganda, Africa.  The film "Invisible Children" is very moving, yet inspiring.  I hope that I can inform as many people as I can about The crisis in Uganda.  Thank you  smile   Here is the link http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/plumberry/135831
