Help, Random Blue LInes

Hello all.

I am new to scratch and only made a few basic animation type projects so far.

I have been working on a silly little game (Very basic, i.e. press right arrow something happens, press left, something else happens).

Anyways as I was working through the project I noticed a blue line appear in the background of the project. I did not draw it or import it there. As I worked more and more, more random blue lines have appeared, almost looking like someone has scribbled across the back of my project. It is not on a particular background image. If i change the background image, the scribbles are sill there on top of it. If I go into edit and try to erase them (I tried editing the background and tried to edit various sprites) my erase tool will erase everything but the blue scribbles.

What are these? What am I missing? Any ideas?
P.S. I took a screen shot of it, but i see these forums don't allow me to post a pic.

Try double-clicking the "clear all" block in the pen tab...
