What? Why do topics that get lost in topic space close?

Topic space is like forums. FYI.
On-topic:They don't even get a post saying something by a moderator. Can someone tell me why?

Re: What? Why do topics that get lost in topic space close?

Topics over a certain age close automatically. It's to keep people from necroposting.

If you want to post in a topic after it's been closed for a long time, simply report the topic, and ask for it to be reopened.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

But you CAN report them and ask for them to be opened.

EDIT: Outposted

It's 2 weeks for Miscellaneous, but 2 months for all the other forums, IIRC.
