About SIMPL-DOS Bootable
There are key hidden files on bootable floppy drives. If I'm correct, we can copy the files to CDs and try it like that. Can we?

Lol, been a while since I have heard about SDB.
Yes, there are "key hidden files", like the boot record. However, they are very hard to read and copy, because 99% of programs and OSs are just about clueless about the existance of them. Also, the boot record of a CD is different than one of a floppy.
It is worth a try, but I don't think it would work.

Funny that I brought back and dusted off my dad's old Dell Inspiron 5000 today. (Seriously, I dusted it off!) What do you think, fire?
