Re: How does Chirp convert .sb to .exe?

Hi fg123,

Chirp, or rather Scratch2Exe is what I call a fake compiler and does not really convert projects to .exe. Instead it packs a Scrach project and a runtime version of Chirp into a single compressed .exe file. When you run the .exe it extracts its contents and runs the project just like regular Scratch (which, in fact, it almost is). I made Scratch2Exe using NSIS, which is open source.
