My dad said it was probably based off 9/11:
We were standing in front of our house, looking at the moon. Then suddenly a giant ball of dust falls out of the sky and rolls towards our house and everybody's freaking out.
Also, once I was listening to an audiobook, one where the characters' voices are all different. Then I had a nightmare that I was in the story and I remember the antagonist's voice talking to me menacingly.
Minecraft, Redwall, and Cyberchase fan, and PROUD.

SCARY ALERT:
I was being chased by some evil men in garbage trucks along with lots of other kids, and we hd under a parking lot (it was like a blanket, we picked up the edge and went underneath.) Then, the men in the garbage trucks found us because they could see bumps through the parking lot and the little kids were talking and wouldn't be quiet. So I had to lead them up the hill, we were running up it and they tried to run us over, so we went down a concrete tunnel, but there was a dead end and the garbage trucks started coming down. Then, a little kid ran up the tunnel, so I had to run after him, and he looked dead, and there were different filters to look through (O_o) and I clicked something and he woke up. So we ran back down and the garbage trucks were coming , and I saw some doors to a washroom. so we all went in there, but for some reason I felt like I'm cheating, so went out, went in, went out, went in. Then I woke up.
This is a temporary signature. It will exist until I think of something witty.

XD I once had a nightmare I was being attacked by teddy bears =w= my dad sent them after me becuase he was mad I turned my big sister into an octopus XD
I woke up without any teddy bears surrounding me gladly

hmm....
well there was one where my family was being turned into plaster-like statues. They got put in a dark room, then this guy threw me in the room and locked the door. yeah...
