I got Skate 3 last year and I love it, Call of Duty is also awesome.

Skate 3 doesn't have violence or blood or even offensive language in it.

Madden 12?
From what I've heard, you can connect to the internet to the Xbox without the $100 adapter.

Get Portal 2. Yes, it has some minor swears, but it isn't really violent at all.
If even Portal 2 is too violent, your only real choice for games are most of the games that require the Kinect, or a sports game.

I don't have an Xbox 360, but I just realised how many of my games are basicly, just about killing... 3, of the many that I have on my desk, don't have killing in them, and 1 is an expansion pack... anyway, I would have to agree with the others, halo is an amazing game, but there is blood... a quick check on amazon, theres Sims 3 for xbox...

I'm sorry, but why'd you get an Xbox then?
Everybody online swears no matter what game you are playing.

So did you ask for the Xbox with the intention of it not being able to go on Xbox live?

There's really no point in getting an xbox if you can't play M rated games...you could have just used steam.

Meh. PS3 has more platformers and XBOX has more PEGI 12 or above/M rated games. But there are probably a few you'll like. Need for Speed is good, don't even bother with any Sonic games on that console (unless you can look past the Werehog), Portal games are a classic, de Blob is great.
