In search of "eloquence" in my programs

So, here I am.. Brand new to scratch and programming.

Could someone point me in the right direction for a good solid set of basics when programming? As my title indicates, I can do things the long clumsy way (sometimes) ... but would like to know how to do this more efficiently.

In particular, I am asking the user a series of T/F questions, I am having a hard time putting this together where it is tight.

Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks
Jennifer

You can try looking at the Scratch Wiki or the Support Tab, that might help with your question.
