Life just threw me a curve ball...
This morning I woke up to the sound of paramedics in our house...my mom had a seizure this morning and her heart wasn't going when they had gotten there...she's alive now, but they think she might have had a heart-attack...that's all I know at this point.
If you guys could keep her in your prayers, I would really appreciate it.

I know exactly how you're feeling.
My mother once had a brain aneurysm and she went to the hospital for 6 months.
Here's my advice:
Pray. Tell everyone you can to pray for her. Also, stay calm. Although it was hard to go through, I kept myself level-headed and tried to keep myself calm. I also tried to cheer my mother up as much as possible. I'm not sure how big this event is, so I can only assume.
It's a very life-changing event. I believe, in my case, it was sort of a good thing. Since her recovery, she seems more calm. Not that it was bad, but we also have a better relationship. Sometimes life throws us these "curve balls". They happen for a reason. It's a miracle my mother survived and I hope your mother recovers quickly. I'll be sure to keep her in my prayers.
