Not really, considering his voice acting has considerably got a LOT better and his overal arogant character seems more comedic and fun these days, rather than the dark annoyance that he displayed in Sonic 06.

I haven't played the game(thank goodness) but I have seen some of the cutscenes. Elise is just screaming Mary Sue.
