I do this: when I want 1.8, I change minecraft.jar to minecraft 1.7.jar. When I want 1.7, I change minecraft.jar to minecraft 1.8.jar. You can have extra files.

But sometimes 1.8 jar changes around my entire .minecraft folder D:

It is, but we have to download a completely new jar.

Grr, it looks like the Bukkit team wasn't smart enough to download the 1.8 prereleases and get a little extra time in preparing for 1.8. Then again, EvilSeph posts early in the morning according to us in the US, so maybe they just have to get on first.

Houston, we have a problem. Either I accidentally deleted 1.7, or I didn't back up my 1.7 jar. If you can, please upload a 1.7 jar file...

EDIT: I'll just get it from fire.

EDIT2: Found it in my Recycle Bin.

Zombe's mods found "cavespider" and won't let me play. I need a fresh 1.7.3.
