Too many live-action shows...

I grew up with PBS Kids, Nick, Disney, and Cartoon Network. And I admit, these channels have changed dramatically over the past years (maybe even a bit too dramatically). Just a few months ago, they showed the old shows on Disney Channel late at night and now they don't even have them at all!  yikes  And does anybody remember ABC Kids? Sometimes it doesn't even show! I thought Saturday was all about fun for the kids! When they do show it, though, it's a lot shorter than I remember! I honestly think that kids TV is getting lamer and lamer everyday.

Anyways, let's get to the point. I think there are too many live-action shows on kids channels. Every new show they have on Disney Channel is live-action (which all suck, by the way)! When they actually do have cartoons, they're terrible (with the exception of Phineas & Ferb). Even CN, which is supposedly a network for cartoons, has some live-action. Disney XD (Toon Disney was waaay better) is nothing, but a bunch of live-action shows, too. And no offense, their cartoons are terrible, too. Nick, well, it's going downhill, too. Wow. I said "too" too much.  tongue

Do these people like ruining my childhood? The Last Airbender movie we all know was a flop. And now they're gonna have a live-action Fairly Odd Parents movie? I wanna see how that goes.  tongue  How much does it take to get these producers to realize that seeing  animated characters as real people just doesn't cut it?!  yikes

I have no problem with live-action in general, but like I said, there's too much.

Does anyone else agree?

EDIT: And for heaven's sake, SpriteMaster, I meant The Last Airbender movie!  mad

But as a kid, I always preferred cartoons over live-action shows. If past me is anything like the kids of today, what do those channels think they're accomplishing? :I

Far as I know, Nickelodeon still stays true to cartoons, though. I catch Spongebob there, and I'm starting to rely more and more on it. Disney is turning into nothing but ICarly and a little Phineas and Ferb. Chowder and Flapjack are dead. Cartoon Network still has some cartoons...

Except for Doctor Who and sometimes Modern Family or The Middle, I don't watch a lot of TV. Spongebob isn't that good anymore DX

Totally... I mean some live action is ok but not when CARTOON is in your name.

And they are making a live action/ animated movie of P&F. Not sure how that's gonna work...
