There are a couple ways to embed Scratch projects on your own webpage:
* Embed a project that you've uploaded on the Scratch site:
http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?pid=435#p435
or (if you don't want to share on the Scratch site):
* Embed a project without uploading to the Scratch site:

Well, you could say something about the used mechanism. Is there any MIME type like application/x-scratch? Or how do you do it?

This server does send the MIME type you mentioned when an sb file is server. This is with the purpose of triggering Scratch to open, nothing else.

Does anyone have information on what needs to be enabled or what .dll file needs to be present or what trick is necessary to make Scratch files run from a Windows Server 2003 (Standard Edition) with IIS 6.0? I am very glad someone else has brought up this question, Natalie, thank you. I asked the same question some months back and got the same answers you are getting. I hope the answers work for you. I have a website hosted by GoDaddy, and I uploaded the following: my .sb files, ScratchApplet.jar, soundbank.gm, and the prescribed html files, and on my GoDaddy site, everything worked like magic and just the way Andres and others said it should. But on my school's intranet server, where I want to host Scratch files created by students in a computer club, I cannot get Scratch files to run. The closest I get is to display the Scratch "loading" screen, but the Scratch files never appear. There must be some server setting that I can enable, or some .dll file I can put in place, or some other trick to make them work, but I don't know who I can ask since I am the website administrator and I don't have any more ideas. I have literally been trying for months. I've installed both Scratch and Java on the server thinking that would put files in place or enable whatever needs to be enabled. I have tried every combination of the .htm code imaginable. I don't know where else to turn other than here and hope the Scratch community has someone who wouldn't mind sharing this information. Anybody?

Rico: it's hard to know what the problem is. I'd suggest creating a new post on the Troubleshooting forum with the HTML code that your browser gets from the IIS server.

Andresmh, you may want to modify that so it doesn't show the administrator prefs. I see you love your own project and have your own "feature" and "censor" button!

And what were those Shariables and the gallery rating things? See, thanks coolstuff otherwise I wouldn't have seen those (though can't blame him- that's a fun game)

Did you look at the first post? It has some links to other topics that address the question. Click on the little number "1" in the upper left corner of the topic to see the first page of the topic.

It also depends on what kind of site it is; Some sites don't have an embeding feature. I know Freewebs does, but you have to add it with a Widget, which is annoying.
