Once you have made those folders, go inside the bin folder. Put the minecraft.jar in there. Run the regular minecraft launcher, log into your account. It will then load the right files. THEN close out of the launcher. Restart it, and type in whatever username your friend wants. Leave the password slot blank. Click "Play in offline mode" and he's good to go! Or, if he wants to change names, use the oldest minecraft launcher, MinecraftSP

Let it start up, then exit the website, then go to the launcher and then you can just play it offline. I discovered this by accident before I got the official version.

I never used a cracked client, besides that online one that I posted, its not hard just to download the offical client and visit that website, then you just need to login with any name and password you want (real or fake), then you just need to start playing, and multiplayer does work, you just appear as player though.

Aaagh. Whenever I try to login it says 'login failed' then 2 buttons, 'try again' and 'play offline'. But I can't get on here offline! Anyone know why this is?
