I honestly feel glad that there are no villagers in 1.8.

NPCs would ruin the feel of isolation the game tries to maintain.

On one of my friends servers, I came up with Zombie Survival. YOu're in a warehouse and have to kill zombies, and eventually other mobs. You start with a Stone Sword a Bow and 16 arrows. You can sell feathers for 1 pt, string for 3, bones for 3, gunpowder for 5, and eventually ender orbs for 7. Then you can buy other things (food, weapons, arrows, dispensers to attach to flashing redstone you can load arrows in)

I managed to rebuild the town I found with brick and stone brick, and I must say, it looks loads better than cobblestone. smile

Good news guys-Bukkit for 1.8 is about to come out. The Bukkit Team is saying they're making it, and they only have a couple of files left. It'll probably come out today or tomorrow big_smile

I made a house that is entirely underground and the only exit is a strange looking rock, which is also the only enterance (at least the only one that won't kill you) that you have to move, then you replace it and open the door, then close the door after you're inside
that didn't make sense
mine the rock open the door go inside replace the rock close the door
then navigate through the rooms
so far the only room is the mining room which eventually juts out of the cliff face.
keep going through there and open a door to get to a tower that is indoors for hte most part to prevent against the occasional mob. The tower mostly serves as a landmark for further exploration wink

Endermen won't attack you if you're holding it.
