I am BRAND new to Scratch and my students are quickly passing me up! We are making video games and I have a few that just are not working the way they should. I have looked at them for three days now, I have dreamed about them...I can't figure it out! They are EASY scripts but something is wrong. Anyone want to jump in and help me?

WOW! Ok, that is way cool and worth so much more then star bucks. I am trying to learn from looking at the script. This should be easy for me.....I can't wrap my mind around the not touching color issue.

Do you have time? These are the BEST students in the world! They have worked so hard! Don't fix it for them, just tell us why!
We need to know why there sprite is going through the walls.
WE WILL LEARN THIS TOGETHER! ( My students and I!)

So, you should take the move blocks out of the forever; that will make it so that it doesn't keep moving. Also, I would recommend using the change x/y by () blocks instead.
Now, to address your other problem.
In each script, before the move, you need to check if it's touching a wall (the color). I would use the block rather than the block.
Does that help?
