Maybe this can be implanted into the forums.
A reasonable number would be around 1000. By that point, I think you could be trusted.
Now, this should also be manual, like New Scratchers to Scratcher, to prevent spam to reach this amount.
People rage over the 60 second rule all the time! This would get rid of that raging.

As ironic as it is, I got the 60 second rule when posting this topic!

Wow you're a fast typer!* I would have never managed to type that post in a minute
I don't really support. The ScratchTeam and mods already have a lot on their hands. This is just adding an extra step.
However, I do continue to support a slight reduction of the minute to 45 seconds. It would be useful especially for Misc and TBG users!

For us to spam more posts?
I don't support-What, if somebody posts 1000 posts that are spam, they have 0 seconds, meaning they can spam even more?

I think that if the ST thinks somebody deserves to not have the 60 second rule, they could lift it on that account. They could always re-enforce it, though.

Well, by the time a spammer would of reached a hundred spams, I think the user would obviously be ban by then

They wouldn't know...
I think they shouldn't know if the rule has been removed.

I think they should remove for 1000 posts.

But they could find out if they post 2 posts quickly.
Or it can be:
if [user] posts>5 and secs<60: print 'You have abused the system, the 60 second rule has been invoked' else: raw_input('Textarea: ')
Please forgive me, I am so used to python now!
