Nope.
I've done that before, one person stands very near the camera, and another person stands far behind so that they look small. It's like where you take photos that make it look like you're as tall as the Eiffel Tower. ^^

The main thing I noticed in that picture wasn't the trick with the people but how far the beach goes on for.
