Metric System

I have to memorize all the prefixes.

Which ones do you know by memory? State the prefix and what it means(like 10^-1)

Well that's becaues you have to know them since that is your measurements of math. Here in America' it's not a priority.

Yeah, I hate that America's stuck with the imperial.

What's harder is if the rest of the world had to memorize imperial. Metric is easy, imperial is all random numbers.

peta... petameter? What kind of name is peta? Does is sound like pita bread???

pico... picometer? What kind of name is pico? Actually, it's sounds fine.

Okay, after typing these I finally memorized them.

Yeah, I couldn't remember hecto without looking it up, so I didn't include it.

You'll also notice that the prefixes that use positive exponents are the same used in computers.
